What to do before my appointment
Shower, shave, wax, and exfoliate 24 hours before your tanning appointment. If you have to shower after the 24 hr time frame use lukewarm water.
VERY IMPORTANT: Do not use any bar soap, mineral oils, Olay/Dove/Bath and Body Works products, or shower/rinse right before your appointment. Do not use any products that mention “renewing”, “regenerating”, “anti-aging” or “anti-acne”.
Use a sulfate-free, pH-balanced, and fragrance-free body wash (e.g., Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash, Native Unscented)
Remove any makeup, lotion, deodorant, or perfume before the appointment as this can create a barrier. (We have wipes you can use).

What to wear
Wear dark loose fitting clothing to your appointment. Long sleeves, loose pants, and flip-flops or slide on shoes are ideal.
During your appointment, you can wear whatever you are comfortable with or choose to go totally nude. Men are required to wear a bottom.
After your appointment do not put on any tight clothing until your first rinse. This includes anything that can rub your tan off such as socks, tennis shoes, bras, or leggings.

What to expect during your appointment
Our certified spray tan artists with start with a skin consultation to ensure your aesthetic goals are met for your spray tan application.
From there you will dress down to your comfort level while our artist customizes the solution based on your consult. You will have the option to use all of our complimentary items such as robes, sticky feet, pasties, hair ties, shower caps, tanning stickers and drying powder.
Once you are prepped and ready for your spray tan, your artists will walk you through a series of motions to ensure proper application of the solution on your skin. At the end you will be dried off, and finishing powder will be applied then you will be ready to get dressed.

What to do after my appointment
Do not touch your skin, or get wet during the processing time. This includes swimming, sweating/working out. Touching your skin can result in over development of tan especially on the palms of your hands.
You will be advised when to rinse anywhere between 1- 5 hours (sometimes longer depending on skin type) after your appointment.
Rinse for 1 minute in lukewarm water without any soap. You are removing bronzer at this time. You will see the bronzer wash off your body down the drain. Do not exfoliate!
A rinse and shower are NOT the same. Your rinse is a water rinse only. You will need to rinse until the water runs clear. If you see blotchiness after your rinse you need to get back in and rinse again. Use your hands to “squeegee” your body to remove the bronzer.
You will be pale after your rinse. The full processing time will take 12-24 hours to develop.
You won't be able to wear tight clothes or use any products on your skin until 12 hours AFTER your appointment.
Pat dry after you rinse.

After care
The life of your airbrush tan depends on how well you prep your skin, and take care of your skin after the appointment.
You may shower 12-24 hours after your rinse.
Moisturize twice a day (be careful to check ingredients in your lotions and stay away from most oils). A tanning extender is excellent to use to extend the life of your tan.
Your face will fade faster than the rest of your body if you routinely wash your face and use products that will strip your tan. We recommend purchasing our tanning water spray for a quick fix.
Do not use any exfoliating products: loofahs, rough washcloths, microdermabrasion, bandaids, pore strips, acne patches, hair removal creams, and shaving cream.

How long will my tan last? When should I schedule?
Your spray tan will last anywhere between 7-10 days. This depends on proper pre and post tan care.
We suggest scheduling your tan at least two days before any major events (wedding, photo shoot, etc.) and one day before leaving for a vacation.
EX: Wedding is on a Saturday you will want to schedule your tan for Thursday.
